About us

Our company, Sumatronic AG, based in Unterägeri, Canton of Zug, was founded in 1987. We have been working for numerous radio stations, DAB network operators and large organisations requiring DAB repeater systems for over 36 years and have been intensively involved with DAB technology for over 15 years.

Through our many years of working with professional customers, we have realised that there is little point in setting up almost perfect DAB transmitter networks if the radio waves do not reach consumers in sufficient quality. We have looked into the causes and problems in detail and found that it is often small things that prevent DAB reception from working well. Often, it is a lack of basic knowledge or, for example, interference sources in the home. With this website, we are making much of this specialist knowledge accessible to everyone and offering concrete solutions to many problems.

Based on our wealth of experience, we began developing products for consumers a few years ago. These are products that are lacking on the market. With the DAB+ cable adapter and the window sill antenna, we have launched two very easy-to-use and efficient products that enable excellent DAB reception indoors.

Another new product coming onto the market is a small DAB repeater which, similar to a small satellite system, can be installed by professionals or DIY enthusiasts. This opens up the use of repeaters to private individuals, clubs or small businesses, for example, for whom professional solutions were previously too expensive.

In addition, we also offer our expertise for device testing, network optimisation, training courses and general consulting services.
